Instrumental EP: And I Love Her By The Audible Doctor

Hello my good people, Hope your holiday(s) are going well. I know it's been hella long since I posted music for ya. I've been a very busy lady lately. For the two weeks I was away, I have been jamming this fly ass instrumental EP titled "And I Love Her" by The Audible Doctor. All of this project is sampled by The Beatles track "And I Love Her", hence the title. The project is done with much style and grace. You know how much I love the sampled sound and this is one that you NEED in your life. I'm diggin the smooth sample chops, they aren't rigid and awkward like many tracks I've heard before. I'm always down for the more soulful tracks and this EP definitely dishes it out. It is surely in my favorite beat tapes for the last half of this year along with Vinyl Richie and Waves. You will most def rock to this..... links below. Peace.

Trap Back Jumpin' Trailer By T.I.

Yesterday T.I. released the trailer for "Trap Back Jumpin" from his upcoming "Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head" album.  Now.....I'm not knockin' T.I. but shouldn't he be staying AWAY from the Trap? But then again, this IS entertainment.  Lol i'm sure it'll be a hit though. Trailer below....

Check The Album Artwork at the end though.......... ehhhhhh.......

Just What I Am Feat. King Chip By Kid Cudi

Happy Birthday Jay-Z

One time for another Hip Hop great, who has given us many of our favorite jams old and new. Happy Anniversary of life old man.

One of my favorite tracks......

RIP Pimp C

Today is the anniversary death of the rapper Pimp C from rap duo UGK. If you are from the south or just love Hip Hop in general, you know about Pimp C. The twang in his voice, outlandish outfits, and of course the pimp cup in hand.  ALL rappers from the south must give respect to UGK because they definitely help put the south on the map. :pours out 40 oz: RIP homie....

One of my favorite video and song feat Outkast ..... he died that year as well. I love the fact all the southern MCs/entertainers are making cameos as well. Good Stuff.....

A Tribute to Dilla By J. Rawls

Vibe............. to that.

I'm Sorry Feat Andre 3000 By T.I.

So...... T.I. is back with a new track titled 'Sorry' this song seems to be the first single i've heard off of his upcoming album "Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head" It features Outkast member Andre 3000 who is also known as the  the invisible man.  We all know how touch and and go 3k can be, so when he does show his face it's time to pay attention. As for T.I., I would like to see him back on the top where he belongs and represent for southerners like myself.  The reality shows are ok, but honestly I rather hear some rhymes. This is a very personal song for the both of them and spill all guts on the track. Andre appears to be addressing his rap duo counterpart Big Boi on this track along with a few others. I am posting lyrics below along with video as I feel they should be read. There's in there message somewhere.... hmm? Check it out.

{T.I.}

My cup runneth over with pinot grigio, hold up
You bogus in the lambo if you ain't lifting the door up
You bogus popping pills if you ain't picking the ho up
You bogus running out on your kids my nigga grow up
For God's sake, like a wedding cutting large cake
For large stakes let the hammer bang broad day
Aye, nevermind what the blogs say
This what my mind and my heart say
My philosophy profit off of my properties
Get it, flip it, we got to be rich, that broke shit is obsolete
Possibly off of my rocker, watch how you watching me
Sophisticated, psychotic, fly as a pilot
Officially silent, all you wish you could get I got it
Unlimited titanium nigga, what's in yo wallet?
Out of gladiator college, I made it summa cum laude
While you clowns couldn't have got a cap and gown if you bought it
I parlay with Saudis, buying crude oil and diamonds
Hustle January, July, fly to Dubai
A broke nigga telling me about how I'm dividing the pies
Like a blind nigga telling me it's an eye for an eye
Bullheaded and stubborn I be that way until I die
But find a nigga with more hustle then me I dare you to try
And according to the hand on my Audemar
It's my time to shine so fuck y'all

{Hook}
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to
The fact is you can't please everybody
You can't please everybody
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to

{T.I.}
I grew up in the gutter life a motherfücker
I get that why I don't trust a motherfücker
Seen a nigga snitch on they mom, shoot at they brother
Go to prison in love with a bítch and a nigga fuck her
I seen real G's destroyed by real suckers
Innocent ladies raped and defenseless babies abducted
Such a horrible truth but you see it over and over
It's nothing, get numb to it and your heart grow colder
Pacify your pain with a chain and a Rover
Fück it, justify your action with stacking your dough up
You show up with a brick of cocaine and baking soda
Just enough for me to blow up, nigga hold up
Switch the flow up, cause these niggas be snitching so much
I promise all they missing's the badge, coffee and doughnut
Go to jail so what, never see my integrity perish
That ain't the Harris' way, study my pedigree
Promise I'm one of the only ones who keep it 100
Probably why I think they all out to get me, you can't convince me
Large money and fame will plant seeds of envy
To make my partners resent me enough to come and get me
Catch me slipping and hit me, just like they did 50
Cause I'm in the position that he think he should be given
Listen, dawg, the fact of the matter is
I'm on a narrow path and we all can't travel

{Hook}
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to
The fact is you can't please everybody
You can't please everybody
What should I be sorry for
Who should I be sorry to

{Andre 3000}
What it ain't, What it is? Even if you gotta live
I learned that apartment is way more exciting than a big ass house on a hill
I used to be a way better writer and a rapper
When I used to want a black Karmann Ghia
Now a nigga speeding in a Porsche
Feeling like I'm going off a course, cut these fuck niggas off
Nigga TIP in my life scream that till I'm horse
Duck these get the fück off me projectiles, bítch you ain't really got a choice
I'm living my life live yours
I don't even like rapping fast, but that's how the world come to me
Talk to me sideways nigga that's your ass
Slow it down, this that shit that'll make you call your momma
Say hey I'm sorry for begging for all them clothes you couldn't afford
And this the type of shit that'll make you call your rap partner
And say I'm sorry I'm awkward, my fault for fücking up the tours
I hated all the attention so I ran from it
Fück it if we did, but I hope we ain't lose no fans from it
I'm a grown-ass kid, you know ain't never cared about no damn money
Why do we try so hard to be stars, just to dodge comments
And this that shit that'll make you call your baby mama
When you gone on half a pill, don't know why but that I did
Then you take a flight back to the crib, y'all make love like college kids
And you say all the shit you gon' do better, we can try this shit again
Round the time the dope wear off, you feel stupid, she feel lost
That's that dope, I mean, I mean dopamine you think Cupid done worn off
Waiting in the hallway with her arms crossed
Her baby boy face full of applesauce
Maybe should have stayed but it ain't your fault
Too much pressure, I fell off, I'm sorry!
Was young and had to choose between you
And what the rest of the world might offer me, shit what would you do?
Well I'd probably do it differently if second the chance
Only if some cool ass older man would've let me know in advance
This, this quarry, that is dug so deep in a father's chest
When he feel that he's broken up his nest
And he figured shit he was just doing the best that he could
Which end up being the worst that he could
And all some pussy nigga on the internet can say is that verse ain't good
It's boring, boring? Really? Hahaha

When I'm disgusted with this world and I can hardly breathe
Told so many lies, don't know what to believe
I discussed it with this girl and this is what she said
She said lay down baby, baby rest your weary head up
I love these distractions but my mind don't wanna rest
But my body disagree so I laid up on her breasts, yes
Oh, you are so fücking fine
I woke up the next morning with new purpose on my mind
Oh, who pulls your ponytail, who knows your body well?

What should I be sorry for?
Who should I be sorry to?

Nardwuar vs. Kendrick Lamar Interview

This was highly entertaining and one of the best interviews of Kendrick I have seen this year. Look how surprised he is when Nardwuar starts talking about Compton and some of it's old school artists. Dude is on point! Check out the vid.....

Video: You Know Who You Are By Oddisee feat Olivier Daysoul

For the ears, mind and soul....... ;)
The second verse is my favorite:
"You were there from the start
You told me what ever I'm doing to do it from the heart
I was pursuing a dream that was cloaked in the cloth of the uncertain
Making money, music, and art, and it wasn't perfect
You told me whatever's worth it was worth hurting
Double edge seemingly sharp, rather unnerving
Still, you believed in a brother
I was starving as an artist, you was feeding a brother
You could see in a brother what I couldn't see myself
When I couldn't see myself needing help
One reason or other I was trying through it all
Lot of ways to fail, that's the fastest way to fall
And through it and after all, you was with me not against
Cheered me from the bench, now you're with me as I ball
And that meant, I ain't even mention your name in my bars
You know you're close to my heart
I'm sure that....."

Boom Bap Soul Vol.1 By Summer Williams

So. We meet again.... I Hope your Friday is going well. This project titled Boom Bap Soul Vol. 1 is a treat for Hip Hop heads to enjoy. She gives us a soulful and hip flow over some classic hits like LL Cool J's "Doin' It"  and Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones." I will say although I'm no singer(no where close), It's not easy for some singers to turn Hip Hop themed tracks into something soulful AND make it their own. However, she seems to get the job done and well. I definitely enjoyed this piece from beginning to end and because I did I felt I had to pass it on to you guys. I'll mos definitely be anticipating the release of volume 2. By the way that intro.... Vibe out to that. Links below...... Peace. Good Vibes and Energy. :)

Big KRIT Concert in Tampa!(Video Footage)

Peace hip hop fiends, hope you are all having a music filled weekend. Sorry for the delay in posts but I had a fight with my computer and unfortunately I lost, but I am back on it now. SO.... the KRIT concert was amazing!!! It was packed and I had such a great time with my fellow hip hop cohorts, they helped make the experience 10x better. Krit performed some songs from the album, but mainly his mixtape joints.... which is mainly what everybody wanted anyway. I had the exclusive seat which was on top of my cousin's shoulders (Shoutout to Travis BTW). I got to be eye level with him and anybody that was there can attest to the fact that I was indeed THE livest person in that piece. haha. Ugh. It was mad dope. The opening acts were pretty dope also. This included Tito Lopez, Andrew Floyd, Big Sant, Casey Veggies, Josh Saint, Vagabonds, and Marlon Ponce. I'm so glad I came early so I could see everyone. The DOPENESS. Check out the video and pics below......
