Heartbreak From Wale

Peace, hip hop heads. I wanted to talk about the man that broke my heart by the name Wale aka Ralph Folarin. So I have always been a fan of this man and I have followed him closely over time. Ever since he went over to Maybach music, I feel like he is lost. The rhymes are hot, however I feel a certain level of disconnect. I realized this when I deleted his ambition album WITHOUT thought to make room for Big Krit's 4eva N A Day. I'm sure you could understand why. While I do think it was a great move to ensure his financial success by connecting with Rick Ross, I think it will hurt his die hard fans to see him go. I feel as if he is trying to fit in with them and gain fame as opposed to just doing him. Rick Ross is very successful and makes hot music from time to time, however I do not respect him as an MC or even a rapper. No way. Half the time I don't know wtf he is talking about. I think it's his voice, ad-libs, and catchy lines that keep people hooked. If you like the that then that's great, but ill pass on superficial BS. I feel like wale is trying his hardest to mesh into that and that is where I feel him fading. The fame is not worth sacrificing his character and I feel like all these 'bandwagon fans' are working to his disadvantage. They feelin' him ONLY because his affiliation to Ross. Take away Rozay, and take away all this press.  Fake fans are real. If you haven't already go listen to Attention Deficit or any mixtape prior to 11.1.11 Theory. Tell me if you feel the difference.... I am not here to sway you against Wale because I love him. I just don't want to feel like he's putting on a show.

  1. I feel like his ambition was actually the better album cause he developed his flow and was actually finishing rhymes instead of just moving on to the next
